As a progressive fintech organization, RupeeRedee places a strong emphasis on creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace. With a diverse workforce and an evolving work culture, the leadership recognized the importance of strengthening awareness and compliance around the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) at the workplace.

To address this, RupeeRedee partnered with Emergence Learning Solutions to design and deliver targeted POSH awareness sessions — one for the larger employee base and another specifically curated for people managers. The goal was to build sensitivity, reinforce compliance, and promote a work environment grounded in mutual respect and trust.

OUR APPROACH

In creating and delivering a POSH Awareness Session for all employees and a POSH Manager’s Session for people leaders, Emergence’s aim was to build a shared understanding of workplace harassment, strengthen compliance, and foster a culture of respect and safety across all levels of the organization.

Our approach combined legal accuracy with real-world relevance, ensuring participants not only understood the law but could also apply it in everyday workplace scenarios.

  • 92.2% of the participants reported improved awareness of key terms under the POSH Act.
  • Employees gained clarity on what constitutes sexual harassment and how to differentiate between welcome from unwelcome behaviour.
  • Real-life case examples and interactive discussions made legal concepts relatable and easy to understand.
  • Participants felt more confident in recognizing, responding to, and reporting harassment.
  • Many shared that they now feel safer and more empowered to speak up, with a better understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
  • The session encouraged continuous learning, respectful conduct, and greater gender sensitivity across teams.

POSH Managers Session

  • 98.4% of the participants reported a stronger understanding of the legal process for handling POSH cases.
  • Managers gained clarity on their responsibilities while supporting both the aggrieved and the respondent.
  • Practical case studies helped them connect legal knowledge with real life workplace scenarios.
  • The session equipped managers with tools to handle complaints sensitively and ensure fair, unbiased escalation.
  • Participants emphasized the need for continuous awareness of workplace culture and the importance of treating all employees equally.
