CLIENT CONTEXT AND NEEDS

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. is a leading name in the global automotive industry, renowned for its innovation, design excellence, and commitment to quality. As a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea, it has played a pivotal role in transforming the Indian automobile landscape. Beyond its engineering and manufacturing prowess, Hyundai has consistently prioritized people-first policies, fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and holistic well- being.

In alignment with International Women’s Day 2024, the organization launched a powerful learning experience under the banner ‘SHE LEADS: Reclaiming Your Power’ — a reflective and empowering space curated exclusively for its women employees.

The company aimed to create a safe and authentic space where women could examine the different roles they play in their lives, reconnect with their inner strengths, and take conscious steps toward greater balance, confidence, and leadership presence. The focus was not just skill-building — but soul-building.

To bring this vision to life, Hyundai partnered with Emergence Learning Solutions to design an immersive and experiential intervention that would help participants reframe limiting narratives, reclaim personal agency, and take charge of their professional and personal journeys with renewed energy and purpose.

OUR APPROACH

Emergence Learning Solutions designed and facilitated a deeply reflective and empowering learning intervention titled ‘SHE LEADS: Reclaiming Your Power’. The session combined guided introspection, interactive exercises, and practical frameworks – all focused towards enabling the participants to reconnect with their inner power, reclaim agency over their lives, and lead with authenticity and intention — both at work and beyond.

The intervention aimed to drive impact across four core areas:

What Sets Us Apart

Phase 1

AWARENESS – The Power of Seeing Clearly

  • The session opened with personal storytelling and thought-provoking quotes to spark introspection, setting the tone for deep inner work.
  • Participants used the Wheel of Wellbeing to reflect on key life areas — career, health, relationships, and personal growth. This helped them identify:

– What’s working well

– What feels depleted

– Where they need to reclaim focus and energy

Phase 2

ACCEPTANCE – The Power of Compassion

  • Next, participants explored the idea that self-growth begins with self-acceptance.
  • Using the Pink Exercise (inspired by Malti Bhojwani), they unpacked their wants, don’t-wants, and limiting beliefs.
  • This stage encouraged embracing imperfections with compassion — as a foundation for healing and growth.
Phase 3

ACTION – The Power of Change

With renewed clarity and acceptance, participants were then introduced to a 3-step reclaiming framework:

– What can I control?

– What can I do?

– What must others do?

  • They translated insights from applying the framework into a realistic action plan, identifying small, achievable steps to restore balance and agency in different areas of their life and work.
  • The session concluded with a powerful journaling prompt “I am deeply thankful for…” – anchoring the experience of the participants in strength and self-trust.

Outcome Achieved

  • The feedback highlighted a renewed sense of self-trust and clarity about personal boundaries, purpose, and priorities amongst the participants
  • Many reflected on how the session helped them recognize patterns of overextension, perfectionism, and self-doubt, and offered tangible tools to shift those patterns
  • Participants left feeling more aware, emotionally lighter, and empowered to take meaningful action
  • The program sparked ongoing conversations around self-leadership, balance, and gender empowerment within the Hyundai culture
