Aspire & Achieve was a unique six month hybrid learning journey spread across numerous interactive and engaging sessions, case study preparations as well as opportunities to present ideas before leaders in the organization.
A blended learning experience based upon the micro learning principles, and a unique blend of different modalities, addressing all needs of a modern and a millennial learner. The program was piloted with a 750+ Managers from Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL).

The pandemic in the year 2020 disrupted all industries globally, and pushed organizations to go beyond from conventional onsite operations approach to a Hybrid or Remote operation approach across the industry.
To manage plant operations at Jindal Stainless Limited, Associate/Deputy Managers form the key pillars who orchestrate the organization’s success by keeping the workforce engaged, managing day to day plant operations, driving results for the organization, and ensuring best industry practices are implemented to increase efficiency of the manufacturing plant
To ensure JSL thrives further as an organization during these unprecedented times, it was imperative that these Associate/Deputy Managers adapt to new changes quickly, re-align their expectations with the role and sharpen their core competencies time to time to tackle day to day operational challenges, help organization achieve results and become future role-ready
Jindal Stainless Limited committed to upskill all Associate/Deputy Managers on 5 key competencies based upon an indepth need analysis and strategic focus aligned with the vision of the organization. These competencies were- Learning Agility, Communication Skills, Achievement Drive, Customer Focus and Creativity and Innovation.
With Aspire & Achieve, 3 key competencies prioritized were – Learning Agility, Communication Skills and Achievement Drive with the following outcomes:

Emergence Learning designed a blended and mobile-ready learning journey, and deployed it with a gamified learning platform. It was a 21-week intervention, with 15 Virtual Labs or live sessions, conducted by experienced facilitators and followed by action learning.
To enable a micro-learning experience for Associate/Deputy Managers, the entire program was converted into a gamified learning journey consisting of instructor-led live sessions, group discussions, self-assessments, role-plays, learning simulations, self-reflections, community learning and 1:1 coaching etc. along with 4 dedicated learning levels and 15 learning missions.
Each level had different missions that needed to be completed to clear the level and unlock the next level. Each mission had a set of mandatory tasks and activities and for each completion, participants were given scores or credits.
Positive Feedback Conversations with reporting managers increased by 3X
Total Production Manhours saved – 112:15 Manhours
Total Revenue saved – Rs. 53.64 Crore or $7 M USD
