Jayant has 12+ years of experience with Telecom Infra companies in the Corporate Sector and has worked for 20+ years as a Telecommunications engineer with the Indian Army. He also brings with him deep expertise in the area of Assessment and Development Centers.
He has worked in the capacity of National Operations Head with M/s Tower Vision wherein he was instrumental in Developing & Fielding an Android Platform-based Enterprise-wide Application for empowering the Field team through automation of Operations & Maintenance processes and real-time Information flow. He has also been associated with M/s Life Architect and M/s Twaran Consultants as a preferred consultant in organizing and running ADCS for NTPC/ Caltex/ BHEL over the course of two years.
Jayant has also been responsible for looking after the Organization transformation at the Corporate Office of Indus Towers. Furthermore, he has 4+ four years of experience with the Smart Card industry and was instrumental in managing the countrywide operations for the Defense Project from the corporate office of Smart Chip Ltd at Delhi. Jayant as the Independent Business Unit Head for the Defense Business was involved in the setting up and managed production, personalization and Testing facilities in addition to the normal Operations.
A glimpse of his various Telecommunication projects in the Army would include Fielding of Vsat Based Voice and Data Networks, setting up and Operation of Voice Switches PBXs and Data communication Network and handling design and overall project specifications for the WAN for the Army including Equipment sourcing, hiring of bulk media (from the Carriers), and specifying the interfaces and training of the end-users.
He is also an Active distinguished Life Member of both the LMA and NHRDN and runs a not-for-profit organization providing financial support to the under-privileged and scholarships to Law Students.
Jayant has done B Tech and Post-Graduation in Telecommunication Engineering from JNU (1989; 1995). He has also done a course in Millimeter-wave Communications at IIT Kharagpur, 1990.
